Prices are good and the quality is amazing! Very friendly owner. There's a nice shaded spot with picnic tables to eat at. The 5 Stars reflects that it is a taco truck; but the best I've been to.
Couldn't recommend this place any higher. Food was an easy 9/10. My gf and I had tried another taco truck earlier in the day that was poppin with people but it left us with a desire to find a better truck. Service was amazing. The gentleman in the truck was very friendly and even had a great recommendation when I asked his favorite between 2 options. Further, when the card machine wasn't working because of network issues, he went ahead and made the food allowing me to eat before paying and told me I could just pay after as he didn't want my food to get cold. Very thoughtful. Lastly, the location. I'd imagine it was super busy mostly because of where it is located. It's not right up along a highway or any major road which makes visual advertisement disadvantaged. However, it was very shady so it wasn't too hot to sit outside and eat. There are nice tables set up with napkins, sauces/spices, etc. the truck was also very well decorated. Some trucks look like they haven't been cleaned or maintained and sat in the sun for 40 years but this truck looked very well taken care of and had the menus displayed for very easy viewing. I'm not in San Marcos very often, but, when I do return, this is definitely a place I will be returning too.
Quesabirria tacos were so good! I've been looking for some since I moved to San Marcos and I'm so glad I found them. Very sweet people and super cute outside seating. Will be back!!!
Real authentic mexican food i recommend the birria tacos service was awesome and they are super nice outside seating is nice when the weather is good
The guy was very nice and helped me figure out what I wanted to order. He also offered to walk the to go order to my car so I could sit in the a/c. The quesabirria tacos were amazing, my favorite in San Marcos. My friend says the chicken street tacos were very tasty. Definitely my new go to place for tacos. Also if you want to eat there, there are picnic tables to sit at. Very chill and fast place
These quesa birria tacos were absolutely DELICIOUS and everything I could ever hope for from authentically made birria tacos. The service was stellar! These people really made me feel at home and I will definitely be coming back to try the chorizo and the pastor tacos next. My favorite part about everything is that the consomé and the tacos were very low in fat which is great for me because I'm trying to watch out for my cholesterol. The flavor on these tacos was so orgasmically amazing that I didn't need to add salsa or salt or anything else! These were good to go as is but I was very grateful that they included grilled onions, peppers, salsas, and lemons. The ambiance is a food truck located in a very shaded lot so it's very comfortable to eat your tacos there. I can't wait to go back and add them to my weekly rotation. Thank you for finally making good quality tacos in a place where it's so hard to find good tacos. I'll take a picture of the food next time lol I was too hungry and surprised about the flavor that I just inhaled the tacos this time.

It is one of the best street taco I tried so far... is unlike other street taco stand out on the street... this place run by this friendly big guy name Jacob!! He only does everything the original style of street tacos, I have tried 5 different flavors from beef, chorizo, pastor, chicharron, n birria!!! They are all just one more amazing then another.. the Qualities like I'm in a unique sit down restaurant !! What I really love are they are all completely individual flavor with very well season...& I felt he does it in healthier ways cause he doesn't put tons of oil like most taco stand does... everything are very clean n organize, even have a unique type of salt for the tacos.... which I absolutely love!! Definitely tried it:.. my original idea is just to try one taco... n I end up ate 5!!! Lolll So I'm sure you will too lolll!! N please share this Yelp to support this !!! Thanks！
